Hey guys! Thank you so much for checking out my new blog! I know summer is a ways from now, but I thought I'd show you/tell you what I am going to be doing this summer. As you all might know, I have been praying about this Mt. Hermon job for well over a year now and God has been so faithful in providing me with this once in a life time opportunity. I will be leaving home from Jun. 4th -Aug. 14th to serve up at Mt. Hermon's Conference Center as a Day Camp Girls Counselor. I will be leading Bible studies, helping with crafts, leading group activities, participating in recreational activities, performing skits and leading kids one step closer to their loving Savior. Finally, I hope to show the same Love Christ has shown me to these kids and to show them that they are known and that they are loved by their Heavenly Father. Ultimately, if I can lead at least one camper to Christ, then the whole summer would be worth it. To impact the world for Christ.
Once I am up there, I don't know how much contact I will have with everyone, so I will begin to use this blog to journal about what will be happening up in Mt. Hermon and the things God will be doing! I am very excited!
As my friends and family, I ask that you continue to pray for me as I begin this adventure. Pray for the kids as well as for their families and pray that God will use the Summer Staff in marvelous ways. So, I ask that you come and join me as he calls my heart to the mountains!
